Who we are?
Hombli is part of Avanca International, an award-winning manufacturer, developer and distributor of innovative mobile lifestyle accessories. Once started in a living room in Voorburg and now grown into a major international player in the smartphone and tablet accessories market (including our Avanca and Sinji brands). Our efforts have been rewarded with a Deloitte Technology Fast 500 award, the European Business Awards and a position in the Financial Times Top 1000.

In 2019, we launched our smart home brand Hombli and are fast becoming a major player in the international smart home market. We won the DISTREE Diamond Award in the smart home category and are already available in 25+ countries.

We sell to both businesses and consumers, working extensively with online and offline partners. Our team consists of around 15 mainly young, hard-working colleagues. We switch quickly, have no 9-to-5 mentality, are serious when we have to be, but also like to have a good time.

About the job
In your role as a Content Creator / Marketer Intern at Avanca International, no day is the same. You are broad-based (Content, SEO, Email, Advertising and Social) and full of thoughtful ideas to grow our brands: Hombli, Avanca and Sinji. You have an important role in various projects such as writing new product content, updating our socials, the further development of our websites and collaborations with well-known retailers such as Bol.com and Tink. You will work closely with other departments (Design, Sales and Purchase). You will also be involved in online ads to promote our brands.

What will you be doing with us?
Within our team, you are the expert when it comes to Online Marketing. Your broad marketing knowledge enables you to come up with creative solutions for various issues.

In summary, you will be responsible for the following:

- You will contribute ideas to improve awareness of our smart home brand Hombli and translate from idea to execution;

- Creating written content for our websites and products (blogs, product descriptions etc);

- Together with our partners, ensuring perfect product listings at retailers;

- Email strategy and execution of email campaigns;

- Manage social media calendar, devise and elaborate content;

- Setting up, managing, analysing and optimising advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads and Google Ads);

- Coordinate freelancers and translation agencies.

What do we ask of you?
- You are working on a relevant course (HBO) in Marketing, Communication, Commercial Economics, Entrepreneurship, Retail, etc.

- You are independent, proactive and able to learn new things quickly;

- Interest in Online Marketing (Content, SEO, Advertising, E-mail & Social);

- You have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;

- Starting immediately is a plus!
