What Will You Do?
As a Senior Buyer, you are the key player in our international procurement process. You are responsible for sourcing, selecting, and managing suppliers, primarily in China and Southeast Asia. You regularly visit factories and trade shows, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure that our products – for Hombli, private labels, and retail partners – meet the highest quality standards.

Your main tasks:

• Developing and implementing the sourcing strategy for consumer electronics.
• Actively maintaining relationships with suppliers in Asia.
• Negotiating prices, delivery times, quality, and contract terms.
• Visiting suppliers, trade shows, and production locations in China and surrounding regions (approximately 2-4 times a year).
• Coordinating with product development teams for both Hombli products and custom private label assignments.
• Analyzing market trends and identifying new opportunities.
  

Who Are We Looking For?
You are commercially minded, internationally oriented, and have a keen eye for quality. You are used to working in a dynamic scale-up environment and have an affinity for technology and design.

What we would like to see in you:

• A higher education degree (HBO or WO) in a commercial, technical, or logistical field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a buyer (international, preferably in consumer electronics).
• Experience with sourcing and supplier visits in China/Southeast Asia.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English. Chinese is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
