When will I receive my product?
Hombli uses its own warehouse in The Hague for packing and shipping products. Items from our warehouse are typically shipped within 1-2 working days.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping within the Netherlands costs €6.95. For destinations outside the Netherlands, the shipping cost is €7.95. Shipping is free for orders above €75 within the European Union, except for special product discounts and campaigns.
How can I track my order?
Hombli sends products that fit through the mailbox without tracking code. In case the product will be send by parcel service, you can request the tracking code at our customer service.
If, by unforeseen circumstances, you did not receive your order, contact our customer service.
Can I return a product?
All products can be returned within 30 days. To return a product, follow the following procedure:
1. Contact our customer service
2. The customer service will send you a return number and return address.
3. Use the return number, return address and instructions to return the product.
4. Depending on the reason of return, you will receive back the money paid or a replacement product.
5. If the return has not been handled as per return instructions, Hombli cannot guarantee proper handling of the return process.

Feel safe and secure at home with the Hombli Smart Smoke Detector. The device emits a loud alarm of over 85 dB when the smoke is detected, so you can easily hear the alert anywhere at home. Besides the traditional alarm, you will also receive an instant notification on your phone. This means that you get notified when something is going on wherever you are.
Always have help directly available at your fingertips with the Hombli app. When the smoke detector detects a fire it will also give clear instructions on what to do to stay safe. You can also quickly call emergency from within the Hombli app in a dangerous situation.
If you trigger the alarm accidentally, for instance because of cooking experiments, you can easily mute the alarm with your phone. So you do not need to climb a chair to press the Smart Smoke Detector to mute the alarm.
Installing the Hombli Smart Smoke Detector only seconds with the magnetic mount and double-sided 3M tape. This magnetic mount can also be installed easily using the included screws and plugs if that works better for your situation.
The internal batteries of the Smart Smoke Detector will last 10 years. So you do not need to worry about replacing the batteries during the lifespan of the Smoke Detector. The device will automatically test every week if the batteries and sensors are still working correctly. In the Hombli app you can always check the current status of the batteries and the latest time that the automatic test was performed. When the battery-status is low, the Smoke Detector will send you an instant notification so you have time to take action and replace the device.
The Hombli Smart Smoke Detector works flawlessly together with other smart Hombli products. You can easily add all your Hombli devices to one single app. This means that you always have all your smart devices at your fingertips. With this app you can also create smart scenarios. This makes it possible to automatically turn your Hombli Smart Lights on when smoke is detected, so you can evacuate safely during a fire.
We highly respect your privacy and make every effort to protect it. Our cloud servers are secured by Amazon and located in Frankfurt, Germany, where privacy standards are very high. Your data is always stored, used, and deleted in accordance with European privacy guidelines and only you have access to it.

We wanted a smart smoke alarm that had an aesthetic appeal and this fits the bill. It was a bit tricky to set up but only because the written instructions omitted to say press the logo quickly four times. It doesn't sound like much but it was the difference between me considering returning the device and eventually getting it to pair with my phone. The magnets make removal for cleaning easy and the app is really easy to use with additional helpful information. Am considering purchasing an additional detector for extra protection.
Eenvoudig te installeren, wel duur voor wat hij doet
I ordered three pcs. A lot of errors from the shipper, messages that it was delivered, but was not! Norway affiliate sent message that parcel had been delivered. Contacted them, they then told med the shipment was in the Netherlands.
Still no response from Hombli customer sevice (24 hours since complaint). And the this auto message asking if I am happy with the smoke detectors I never received. Thought Hombli was a serious company!?

Deze producten zijn moeilijk te installeren.
De handleiding is ook bijna niet leesbaar - zeer zeer kleine tekst.
Ook hier is het schrijven van een beoordeling met zeer klein lettertype.

Zusätzlich rät man dazu, Rauchmelder in Schlafräumen, Fluren und Aufenthaltsräumen zu platzieren (nicht direkt über Kochstellen oder im Bad). Die genauen Vorschriften unterscheiden sich je nach Land. Is this device compatible with a 5G WiFi home network?
Hallo Mel Sam,
The Hombli Smart Smoke Detector works only with a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and cannot connect to 5GHz. We suggest creating a separate Wi-Fi network that broadcasts only 2.4GHz, as this guarantees the most stable and reliable connection. Most routers offer the option to set up an additional dedicated 2.4GHz network specifically for smart home devices.

Mein Hombli Smart Smoke Detector blinkt im Pairingmodus nicht. Entsprechend kann ich ihn nichtr verbinden. Was kann ich tun?

Es klingt so, als ob Ihr Hombli Smart Smoke Detector nicht in den Pairing-Modus wechselt. Bitte prüfen Sie Folgendes:
- Gerät einschalten: Drücken Sie das Hombli-Logo für ca. 5 Sekunden fest, bis Sie einen Piepton hören.
- Pairing-Modus aktivieren: Drücken Sie anschließend das Logo 4 Mal fest hintereinander.
- LED-Anzeige: Die LED sollte nun schnell grün blinken.
Tipp: Drücken Sie das Logo wirklich kräftig – leichtes Antippen reicht nicht aus!
Falls das Gerät trotz dieser Schritte nicht reagiert, könnte ein Hardwareproblem vorliegen. In diesem Fall wenden Sie sich bitte an uns unter support@hombli.com, damit wir Ihnen weiterhelfen können.

We have just purchased several smoke detectors. Is there a guide where to best positioned them in each space/room? Thanks!

Thank you for your question! For optimal safety, smoke detectors like the Hombli Smart Smoke Detector should be placed:
- Inside each bedroom and outside sleeping areas, to ensure early detection while people are asleep.
- On every level of the home, including the basement.
- In living rooms or near stairways, especially on floors without bedrooms.
Avoid placing detectors:
- In bathrooms or kitchens, where steam or cooking fumes may trigger false alarms.
- Near vents, fans, or corners, as airflow and dead zones can delay smoke detection.
The Hombli detector is best mounted in the center of the ceiling, not too close to walls or corners. If ceiling mounting isn’t possible, wall mounting is acceptable—ideally 10–30 cm below the ceiling.

You can use all Hombli products for free using the Hombli app. We do notcharge any additional fees for using the products. Optionally you can order a Cloud subscription to store recordings online. This is completely optional, because you can also store the recordings locally on a sd-card. The choice is yours!
