Trotz völlig demolierter Produktpackung lehnt Hombli eine Rücknahme respektive ein Ersatz der Ware ab. Dass die Gewalteinwirkung auf das Paket die sensible Elektronik beschädigt haben könnte und die Sicherheit des Elektrosteckers damit nicht mehr gewährleistet ist, ist Hombli egal.

Ik ben erg blij met mijn slimme stekkers (6 stuks). Ze zijn eenvoudig te installeren en via de app heb je alles overzichtelijk bij elkaar. Het aan- en uitzetten via de app is erg handig, en het is ook mogelijk om een schema in te stellen.

Het ontwerp is strak en past mooi binnen het interieur. Wel jammer dat de stekkers relatief ver van de muur afkomen.

Vraag: Zijn er slimme inbouw stopcontacten in ontwikkeling bij Hombli? Dat zou wat mij betreft de mooiste oplossing zijn in plaats van de losse slimme stekkers.

This socket has an up and down, why? Well, on the one hand, I think it's very good that the socket is very narrow and small. Even big, well-known manufacturers can't manage it or don't want to manage it. That's definitely a positive thing to mention. As far as this is concerned, the description is a little misleading, it's in there that you can use the socket with Siri, which isn't fundamentally wrong, but as a layman I understand it to mean that I can integrate it, unfortunately that's not the case because you can only control Siri via a shortcut, which is absolutely stupid the case. And then for just under €25, other manufacturers are able to integrate Siri. What's nice about this variant is that you can read the power consumption, which I think is very good, but everyone has to decide for themselves or if they want to use Siri then it only works via shortcut. Otherwise, in terms of price performance, there are honestly better ones.

The smart socket works as it should. We also integrated it with our Alexa and there were no problems here. The setup actually went quite well - if you've already dealt with such sockets a few times, it's no problem. Everything's great!

The plug is extremely easy to set up and ready to use. You either use the button on the side to turn the can on or off or you connect the device to the app and can then control it via smartphone or with the appropriate skill with Alexa. I have currently set up the version with Alexa and am very satisfied. The can switches quickly. However, it is quite long and clearly audible when switching gears. That's why it's not quite worth 5 stars in my opinion. If you're looking for a simple socket to switch your devices on or off with Alexa, this is the right place for you. Download the app and set it up (it's all in the instructions) - and you're ready to go. I think it's great.

I set up a new office in the basement. The window and a large Kallax are backlit with LED strips (which are controlled via Alexa). I found great LED lighting for my pin board, but unfortunately without a control unit for voice commands and Alexa. No problem, that's exactly what smart sockets like this one are for. The Hombli socket is small and doesn't take up much space on the power strip. I simply plugged it in between and after switching it on, the blue LED on the power button flashed quickly. Lt. Simply go to automatic search and the socket is found and added to my list for Alexa. Now a tip: - Change the name in the Alexa app to a much simpler term. The WiFi socket from hombli is one of the products that can be installed with ease and you don't have the pressure of having to use the manufacturer's own app. Even if this is unfortunately provided for in the English instructions. I'm tired of having to use manufacturer-specific apps for standard devices, data is collected everywhere where it doesn't have to be. I've been using the Smart Life app for quite some time, where there is no registration requirement. All standard devices can be integrated here with very few exceptions. Installation took place within a minute. The socket has an energy measuring function and can otherwise be switched on and off using the button on the socket. And even though I had the socket installed without any problems, others may have a harder time because they have to read the instructions first. And it should be in the buyer's local language in the packaging and not on the product page on Amazon. However, this socket only came with a German-language safety notice and EC declaration of conformity. The actual instructions were entirely in English, which deducts one star.

Today I'm trying out the "Hombli Smart Socket" for just under 24 euros.First contactI receive a colorfully printed box. Unpacking is a bit fiddly due to the exact fit of the can. Next to the can there is a small quick start guide in the pack. All cardboard, I like that! The can appears to be of high quality and is cleanly crafted in all areas. The power switch is easy to reach and press and, depending on the operating status, is red or blue or dark. The Humbli has a CE marking and, according to the label, is protection class II, which means that it should be at least double insulated everywhere. Since the can is glued, I have to believe it. The house pictogram is also printed on it, so the can can only be used indoors.Hombli AppIn the product description I read that the Hombli has its own app and was developed in the Netherlands. I like that as well as this being a smart plug it does have and on/off button on the size. Its quite a neat unit, just a bit larger than a standard plug and feels quite solid.The plug requires the 'Hombli' app in order to set it up/access smart features and once I'd set that up then I was able to add this skill to Alexa and manage it through that. Its worked reliably since first set up.

This smart plug by Hombli is great. The plug works via its own app (which you can enable as a skill on your alexa/google assistamt or just use the Hombli app if you don't have one.) I use mine for my kettle and for my lamps. You can also use it in automated routines and timer settings e.g. alarm goes off and the kettle boils. The plug is easy to set up and simple to use. It is a nice compact size and has good switchability. Im very pleased with this well made, good value, durable smart plug.

This Hombli smart plug was easy to set up and works with Alexa.I ordered this plug to control the socket our printer is plugged into. As we use the printer less and less nowadays it doesn't need to be switched on all the time but where it is plugged in is hard to reach to turn on and off. This plug has meant i can ask Alexa to "turn on printer" from anywhere in the house and then the printer is ready to turn on.The plug was easy to set up through the Hombli app and just as easy to set up on the Alexa app. The plug does have a small red light on when turned on but we cant see it from where its plugged in so not an issue for us.

I love smart plugs and having a 'smart' home - and these plugs are perfect for attaching into hard to reach places so you only ever need to bend over / reach behind furniture once. Since installing the connection has been rock solid - it turns on every time without fail and without needing to be asked twice.The Hombli app was easy to setup (if not a little basic) and then I never used it again, instead preferring to add the plug into my Alexa app via the Hombli 'skill' that can be found through the Alexa store. Once setup was complete, it just adds the plug into your Alexa home, allowing it to be turned off via there, or through voice commands like normal.The energy monitoring aspect can only be accessed through the Hombli app, which is a shame but it is easy to find. It's just added information which can be useful if you're trying to identify a power hungry applicance or if you're trying to apportion costs to a housemate. A red LED comes on when the plug is on which is something to note if you want it on whilst sleeping.A really versatile plug that I highly recommend, although cheaper alternatives can be had if you do not need the energy monitoring.

Inside the box is the socket itself, a quick start leaflet and a safety leaflet.The plug is very compact which I appreciate with the shortage of space I face. It has a button on the side to manually turn it on and off, as well as a very small status LED. This LED is small enough not to be a distraction in the dark. It is blue when setting up the connectivity to the plug, then either off or red when the socket is off or on.Setting up the plug went smoothly using the Hombli app. I then linked it to Alexa using the Hombli skill. The socket works as expected.This socket goes beyond straight on and off operation. There is scheduling available within the app, although this can also be done through Alexa. Unusually the socket also monitors voltage, current and power and tracks power over time.Although the socket seems relatively expensive compared to the competition, the additional functionality justifies this. Buying multi packs, also reduces the price significantly.Highly recommended.
