When will I receive my product?

Hombli uses its own warehouse in The Hague for packing and shipping products. Items from our warehouse are typically shipped within 1-2 working days.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping within the Netherlands costs €6.95. For destinations outside the Netherlands, the shipping cost is €7.95. Shipping is free for orders above €75 within the European Union, except for special product discounts and campaigns.

How can I track my order?

Hombli sends products that fit through the mailbox without tracking code. In case the product will be send by parcel service, you can request the tracking code at our customer service.
If, by unforeseen circumstances, you did not receive your order, contact our customer service.

Can I return a product?

All products can be returned within 30 days. To return a product, follow the following procedure:

1. Contact our customer service
2. The customer service will send you a return number and return address.
3. Use the return number, return address and instructions to return the product.
4. Depending on the reason of return, you will receive back the money paid or a replacement product.
5. If the return has not been handled as per return instructions, Hombli cannot guarantee proper handling of the return process.

No batteries and hub required
The Smart Switch Module connects directly to the main electricity net, you do not need to replace batteries or charge the switch module. Pair the switch module directly with your 2.4GHz WiFi network, so no need for an extra hub.

Take full control of your home or office lights thanks to the schedule timer. Easily schedule your lights and appliances to automatically turn on/off during specific hours. Combine different Hombli products
The Hombli Smart Switch Module fully integrates with other Hombli smart home products. Create smart scenarios to turn all your smart Hombli devices at once or at a specific time. It is also possible to create scenarios based on the status of the physical switch. In this way you can control other smart devices that are not directly connected to the switch. Smart Hombli products also connect with devices from other brands that support the Tuya IoT platform.

Install behind existing wall switches
The Hombli Smart Switch Module has a compact design, which makes it possible to install behind most traditional wall rocker or button switches and sockets. Instead of installing behind a switch or socket, it is also possible to install the Smart Switch in the junction box near the light fixture. Keep in mind that the junction box needs a neutral and live wire besides the signal/switch wire because the Switch Module always needs electricity to operate.

Your data is always stored, used, and deleted in accordance with European privacy guidelines and only you have access to it.

ATTENTION: The wiring in wall switches can differ per situation, please check before ordering if your switch or junction box includes all the wires in the wiring scheme of the Smart Switch Module: blue (neutral), brown (live), and black (signal).

Das Relais ist top. Die Inbetriebnahme ist einfach und intuitiv. Schade, dass die beiden Kontakte nicht potential frei sind. Das würde einige Anwendungen noch einfacher machen.

Works as expected

The switch module works as expected and just fits in behind the double light switch. Configuring it in the app was no problem.
Only 4 from 5 stars as it does not show in the Hombli shortcut widget on my Android phone. I would like to see the 2 channels as seperate devices in this widget.

Keine potentialfreien Kontakte = eingeschränkte Nutzung

Schade - Hombli (taugt sonst sehr gut) hat die Phasen des Schalteranschlusses mit denen der Schaltkontakte intern (untrennbar) verlinkt. Damit kann dieses Module leider nicht flexibel eingesetzt werden oder bedarf eines weiteren Relais pro Kontakt. Für die original angedachte Funktion hinter einer Steckdose oder Lichtschalter mag es taugen - aber dann hätte das Module kleiner gebaut werden können - Lifeanschluss (P+N, was übrigens bei einem Lichtschalter nicht gegeben ist) und zwei geschaltete Ausgänge. Das Module taugt also nur bedingt, altertümliche Geräte smarter zu machen (Hombli Werbung). Wann bringt Hombli also Schalter, welche ich mittels des cleveren Apps einfach für flexiblen Bedarf nutzen kann?
By the way: Support von Hombli ausgezeichnet - hat hier aber nix genützt.

Sie haben völlig recht: Unser aktuelles Smart Switch Modul ist primär dafür konzipiert, hinter einem Lichtschalter oder einer Steckdose installiert zu werden, um 230V zu schalten. Aufgrund der internen Verdrahtung sind die Kontakte nicht potentialfrei, was die Flexibilität für andere Anwendungen einschränkt.

Wir verstehen den Wunsch nach einem Modul mit potentialfreien Kontakten für den Einsatz bei Geräten mit unterschiedlichen Spannungen oder für komplexere Steuerungen. Diese Anforderung nehmen wir definitiv in unsere Produktentwicklungs-Wunschliste auf. Leider kann ich aktuell keinen konkreten Termin oder ein bevorstehendes Produkt versprechen, aber Ihr Hinweis hilft uns, die Nachfrage besser einzuschätzen.

Hombli smart switch

Werkt perfect. Was wel even lastig met installeren omdat de ruimte in de Schakel doos krap is. Eind 2023 geïnstalleerd en is nog niet in storing gegaan. Heel fijn dat je niet merkt dat het eruit maar je wel alle voordelen hebt van een smart switch

I put it a 3rd time - but seemingly unheard. But I need you return, else I have to teturn it to the supplier, but would then put one star (only due to support)
Question: can the two contacts be used potentially free (e.g. a 12 V and/or an individual cirquit, not hooked to the same ground (or phase)? If not, it is useless for me and considering the intention of it, neither logical. If the lines are hooked internally, can I change that (by opening the module? All I wanted was a (2) free usable contact controlled by the Hombly app.

Thank you for your patience and for clarifying your question. Based on our research, the device you are referring to is not designed to switch different voltages or independent circuits. The two contacts are internally connected and share the same power line (230V). This means they cannot be used as isolated, free contacts for separate circuits such as 12V or different phases.

Opening the module to modify the internal wiring is not recommended, as it would void the warranty and could pose serious safety risks. Unfortunately, if your intention was to have two fully independent, app-controlled contacts, this product will not meet that requirement.

Kan ik deze module gebruiken om mijn mechanische ventilatie schakelaar (3 standen locatie gang begane vloer) te vervangen en zodoende via de app deze te kunnen bedienen in de badkamer ?

Je interpretatie klopt helemaal: de Hombli Smart Switch Module is ontworpen voor het schakelen van één draad via een reguliere wandschakelaar. Dit maakt hem geschikt voor eenvoudige aan/uit-toepassingen, zoals het bedienen van een lamp.

Voor jouw situatie — een mechanische ventilatieschakelaar met drie standen en een Perilex-aansluiting — is deze module helaas niet geschikt. Zoals je al aangaf, zou het theoretisch mogelijk zijn om meerdere modules te gebruiken om de drie draden afzonderlijk te schakelen, maar dit brengt aanzienlijke veiligheidsrisico’s met zich mee. Het kan leiden tot het gelijktijdig activeren van meerdere ventilatiestanden, wat absoluut niet veilig is.

Voor het slim aansturen van een ventilatiesysteem met meerdere standen en een Perilex-aansluiting raden we aan om contact op te nemen met een installateur of te kijken naar gespecialiseerde oplossingen die hiervoor ontworpen zijn.

The Hombli Smart Switch Module is primarily designed for controlling low to medium power lighting circuits and small appliances. It has a maximum load capacity of 3680W (16A at 230V). Whether it can be used to control a heater or water heater depends on the power consumption of the specific device.

⚠️ Important considerations:
- Check the wattage of your heater or boiler. If it exceeds 3680W or draws more than 16A, the Smart Switch Module is not suitable and could be damaged or pose a safety risk.
- Many water heaters and space heaters require dedicated high-power circuits, which should not be switched using standard smart modules.
- If your heater is within the safe range, make sure it does not have inductive or capacitive loads (like motors or compressors), as these can also affect the module’s performance.
