When will I receive my product?
Hombli uses its own warehouse in The Hague for packing and shipping products. Items from our warehouse are typically shipped within 1-2 working days.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping within the Netherlands costs €6.95. For destinations outside the Netherlands, the shipping cost is €7.95. Shipping is free for orders above €75 within the European Union, except for special product discounts and campaigns.
How can I track my order?
Hombli sends products that fit through the mailbox without tracking code. In case the product will be send by parcel service, you can request the tracking code at our customer service.
If, by unforeseen circumstances, you did not receive your order, contact our customer service.
Can I return a product?
All products can be returned within 30 days. To return a product, follow the following procedure:
1. Contact our customer service
2. The customer service will send you a return number and return address.
3. Use the return number, return address and instructions to return the product.
4. Depending on the reason of return, you will receive back the money paid or a replacement product.

Al een aantal jaar gebruik ik veel Hombli producten dagelijks en ik was dan ook super blij toen ik werd geselecteerd om dit nieuwe product te testen!
Ik had niet verwacht dat een kattenbak zoveel verschil zou maken, maar deze slimme kattenbak is echt geweldig. Mijn nieuwsgierige Britse korthaar zat meteen te kijken hoe het schoonmaken werkte en vond het totaal niet eng, eerder interessant.
Voor mij scheelt het enorm veel tijd, want hij reinigt zichzelf en er blijven geen vieze geurtjes hangen. De app en camera zijn superhandig om even te checken hoe het met mijn kat gaat als ik weg ben.
Kortom: minder gedoe voor mij, een blije kat én een fris huis. Beste aankoop die ik voor hem heb gedaan!

I’m absolutely in love with this smart cat litter box. The build feels high quality. It’s sleek, sturdy and thoughtfully designed. Having the app and camera setup is brilliant for checking in on my cat when I’m away. The self-cleaning function actually works and has made daily life so much easier, while the built-in sterilizing and odor-control features keep the area fresh and hygienic. It’s easy to set up and genuinely saves time. I highly recommend for any cat owner who wants less fuss and more peace of mind.

Funktioniert einwandfrei.
Wenn es am inneren und äusseren Deckel noch Silikondichtungen hätte, welche den Geschmack aus dem Sammelbehälter komplett einschliessen würde, wäre das Gerät perfekt. Stand jetzt, riecht man zeitweise, trotz neuem Duftwürfel etwas, da die Spaltmasse der Deckel nicht zu 100% stimmen.
Ich werde mir einen Kantenschutz besorgen, um dies nachzurüsten.
Positief is dat de kattenbak echt niet ruikt en de katten (bijna) altijd een schone bak hebben. Ook de camera en zicht via de app zijn handig en vooral het gewicht wat bij elk gebruik wordt gemeld vind ik super handig bij onze senior katten voor als wij op reis zijn en iemand anders ze verzorgt.
Wel zouden de gebruiksinstructies duidelijker kunnen. Het niveau om maximaal te vullen via de ronde opening is lastig en als er tijdens het gebruik wordt “geknoeid” tegen de zijkant door de kat, plakt het grit vervolgens tegen de zijkant bij het afvoeren en blijft ook nà automatisch reinigen achter. Omdat je niet met water mag reinigen en de toegang klein is, is het schoonmaken hiervan lastig. Het automatisch reinigen ging bij ons na een maand gebruik ook piepen. WD40 lijkt echter dit nu te hebben verholpen. Na twee maanden gebruik zijn we echter zéér tevreden!
Zuerst das Positive:
Die Toilette ist sehr einfach zu installieren, sieht optisch gut aus und ist im Betrieb sehr leise. Unsere beiden Katzen haben die Toilette von der ersten Minute angenommen und benutzen diese seither, obwohl am Anfang noch die alte Katzentoilette nebenan stand.
Beim Negativen ist es mühsam, dass bei der Entleerung nicht immer alles in die Schleuse fällt. Bei ganz normalen Urin-Klumpen dreht sich die Box zu wenig herum, so dass der Klumpen zwar herausgefiltert wird, aber danach wieder zurück in den sauberen Streu fällt.
Ein weiterer und aus meiner Sicht massiver Minuspunkt ist, dass die Box stinkt. Trotz regelmässiger Leerung des Beutels und Ersatz des Streus, stinkt es rundherum nach Katzenklo. Wir haben den originalen Litter Box-Duftspender eingebaut, welcher aber überhaupt nicht beim Geruch hilft. Zudem ist es aus meiner Sicht unverhältnismässig, wenn 6 solcher Duft-Refils rund 30 Franken kosten - sie sind es nicht wert.
Der Duft wurde inzwischen entfernt und nebenan ein Raumduft von Ipuro hingestellt, welcher die Katzentoiletten-Gerüche überdecken mag.
Fazit:
Die Toilette ist grundsätzlich gut, wenn sie die Klumpen vollständig entfernen und nicht so stinken würde.
Ich würde die Toilette (Stand heute) deshalb nicht noch einmal kaufen.

Für einige Modelle haben wir tatsächlich Rückmeldungen erhalten, dass sich der Behälter nicht weit genug dreht, wodurch Klumpen wieder in die saubere Streu zurückfallen. Wir arbeiten derzeit an einem Firmware-Update, das den Drehwinkel leicht erhöht und dieses Problem beheben soll. Die Veröffentlichung ist für die kommende Woche geplant.

The litterbox smells, i put the deodorizer in but it doesn't seem to work. I don't smell that.

It could be that the smell of the waste is too strong for the deodorizer alone. Normally, this is mainly reduced by the cat litter itself, as it should be sufficiently absorbent so that waste dries out quickly and produces less odour. We recommend checking whether you are using a suitable, highly absorbent litter and refreshing it regularly.
You can level the cat litter easily via the app or directly on the display of the litter box. On the screen, select the option “Level litter”, and the device will automatically distribute the litter evenly.

Hoeveel afvalzakken nodig per week voor 1 kat?
Hallo,
Voor de Hombli Smart Cat Litter Box with Camera heb je gemiddeld ongeveer 1 afvalzak per 5 tot 7 dagen nodig bij gebruik met 1 kat. Dit hangt wel af van hoe vaak de bak automatisch reinigt en hoe intensief je kat deze gebruikt.
Wanneer je de bak vaker laat reinigen of als je kat vaker gebruik maakt van de kattenbak, kan het zijn dat je iets vaker een zak moet vervangen (bijvoorbeeld 2 per week). In de meeste gevallen blijft het echter rond 1 zak per week.

Heeft de kattenbak een internetverbinding nodig, of werkt deze ook zonder?
Welke gegevens worden er via het internet verzonden, en welk bedrijf bewaard deze gegevens en waar?
Is er een api beschikbaar?

In theorie kan de Hombli Smart Cat Litter Box ook zonder internetverbinding gebruikt worden. Via de fysieke knoppen op de kattenbak kun je dan handmatig een schoonmaakprogramma starten. Zonder internet zijn de functies echter sterk beperkt: het instellen van schema’s, bekijken van statistieken, gebruik van de camera, automatische schoonmaakprogramma’s en bediening via de app zijn dan niet beschikbaar.
De gegevens die via internet worden verzonden (zoals gebruiksstatistieken en camerafunctionaliteit) worden opgeslagen in de cloud. Hiervoor maken wij gebruik van het Tuya‑platform, een wereldwijd erkende Smart Home‑infrastructuur die werkt met sterke versleuteling. De gegevens blijven binnen Europa en worden conform de geldende GDPR‑ en RED‑DA‑richtlijnen opgeslagen op AWS‑servers in Frankfurt (Duitsland).
Omdat het product gebruikmaakt van het Tuya‑platform, is er inderdaad een open API beschikbaar via Tuya waarmee technisch onderlegde gebruikers apparaten kunnen aansturen. Wij als Hombli bieden hier echter geen ondersteuning op, omdat we dan de optimale gebruikerservaring en werking niet kunnen garanderen. Goedendag, wij hebben nu enige tijd deze kattenbak. Vaak horen we een oorverdovend geluid van een steentje dat tussen het draaiende deel zit. We hebben ookal veel verschillende vullingen met betoniet geprobeerd maar er is er niet 1 waar we A: de herrie niet van hebben en die B voldoende klontertijd lijkt te hebben. Welke kattenbakvulling adviseren jullie?

Dank voor je bericht. Het geluid dat je beschrijft ontstaat meestal wanneer een hard of groter korreltje tussen het draaiende deel terechtkomt. De Hombli Smart Cat Litter Box werkt met de meeste soorten vulling, zolang deze fijn genoeg is en goed klontert. Onze beste ervaring is met tofu kattenbakvulling: deze klontert snel, is lichtgewicht en zorgt doorgaans voor minder geluid tijdens het reinigen. Daarnaast is het een meer milieuvriendelijke optie.
